Do you like action, gore, mythical creatures, and big ass swords? Try reading Berserk. Please note that it's a long-running series, so don't start reading if you can't commit the time - once you start reading you likely won't want to stop. Mature Content.
Do you like period piece type manga with knights, battles, and other medieval shit? Try reading Kingdom. I've only read a few chapters myself, but I'm definitely going to come back to it very soon.
Additionally, last post I talked a little about a series called Area D. Initially, I figured it would be much like Deadman Wonderland, because there are many similarities to the plot and character development techniques. Boy, was I wrong to assume. When I spoke about it last, I had read between 2-4 chapters. I've now finished reading all the released chapters (currently, 75 chapters and counting), and I can't wait until the next one becomes available, because they sure know how to hook you in and keep you holding your breath.
Another series I've received a ton of raving emails about lately is a webtoon called Wake Up, Deadman. Although I haven't actually read any of it myself (too much to do, so little time!), I've only heard good things about it, and it seems like it would be right up my alley. Not sure about you guys, though. Give it a try! You like it... you just don't know it yet.
